Symptoms

Configuratie van ESRS

De volgende fout wordt waargenomen tijdens de netwerkcontrole.

$ uemcli /sys/support/esrsi checkNetwork

Operation failed. Error code: 0x6400b76
The system encountered an unexpected error while completing the ESRS action. Search for the error code on the support website or product forums, or contact your service provider (Error Code:0x6400b76)

 

Cause

De eindgebruikersacceptatielicentie (EULA) wordt niet geaccepteerd.

 

Resolution

Controleer of de EULA wordt geaccepteerd of niet:

service@(none) spb:~> uemcli /sys/support/esrsi show


1:    Enabled       = no
      EULA accepted = no

Als het al wordt geaccepteerd en nog steeds niet werkt, neemt u contact op met Dell Technical Support om het probleem op te schonen. Als het niet wordt geaccepteerd, is de eenvoudigste methode om de ESRS opnieuw te configureren in Unisphere, maar als dat een time-out is (bij het toevoegen van klantreferenties):

uemcli /sys/support/esrsi set -acceptEula yes

Zodra de bovenstaande opdracht is uitgevoerd, wordt een CST Lockbox-gebruiker gemaakt.

Valideer opnieuw:

spa:/cores/service>uemcli /sys/support/esrsi checkNetwork

Operation completed successfully.

Operation failed. Error code: 0x6400bc7
 Integrated EMC Secure Remote Support cannot be enabled at this time, because the system cannot contact any required EMC server. Please refer to online help for this error code to resolve the issue. (Error Code:0x6400bc7)
Opmerking: Het bovenstaande voorbeeld laat zien dat dit probleem is opgelost (de eerste controle is helemaal goed, de tweede controle zegt dat er een netwerkprobleem is). Maar we hebben hier de melding 'Het systeem heeft een onverwachte fout aangetroffen' aangepakt.
