Symptoms
Getting the following error while trying to create a replication session using Unisphere:
HTTP Error 403: Forbidden
1) Check if the Data Movers on the specified remote system are accessible.
2) Ensure that the difference in system times between the local and remote VNX File systems or VNX systems does not exceed 10 minutes.
Use NTP on the Control Stations to synchronize the system clocks.
3) Ensure that the passphrase on the local Control Station matches with the passphrase on the remote Control Station.
4) Ensure that the same local users that manage VNX for file systems exist on both the source and the destination Control Station.
5) Ensure that the global account is mapped to the same local account on both local and remote VNX Control Stations. Primus emc263860 provides more details.

Cause
Source and Destination Control stations time and/or timezone does not match. NTP was not configured to sync the time between the Source and the Destination array.
Resolution
Ideally, the time difference between the source and destination array should not be more than 10 minutes, and it should reflect same in both Unisphere as well as in the PuTTY session.
How to change the CS Time:
Follow these steps to set the Control Station date and time:
After the update of time, replication session will be created successfully.
- Check the timezone for both source and destination array in Unisphere (It should be same)
- Check nas_cs -i (It was different for Source and destination, so as getting the error)
How to change the CS Time:
Follow these steps to set the Control Station date and time:
- Log in to Unisphere as root.
- Select the System from the drop down list.
- From the System Management task list, select Control Station Properties.
- In the Current Date and Time field, select the Month, Day, and Year from the corresponding lists.
- In the Time field, type the time of day in hh:mm:ss format.
- From the Current Timezone list, select the timezone.
- Click Apply.
nas_cs set time <yymmddhhmm> timezone
<timezone>
nas_cs set time 200811070205 timezone
America/New_York
<timezone>
nas_cs set time 200811070205 timezone
America/New_York
After the update of time, replication session will be created successfully.
Additional Information
The above steps are only applicable when NTP is not configured for the arrays.
In order to configure the NTP for the array, refer to KB article 322783, Celerra and VNX: How to configure NTP for the Data Mover and Control Station.
