Symptoms

Unable to create a SAN copy session for a LUN

Getting the error "The following Logical units are not accessible"

Cause

Destination/Source LUN is trespassed from its default owner.
The source and the destination LUN should have the same SP ownership.

Pool LUNS:

This includes the Allocated SP owner, the Default SP Owner and the Current SP Owner. Verify from LUN Properties that the Source and Destination LUNs have the same SP ownership. If the Destination LUN Allocated SP owner is different from the Source LUN you will need to use LUN Migration to a new LUN with the Allocated SP owner that matches the Source LUN.

Raid Group LUNS:

For Raid Group LUNs you can change the Destination LUN Default SP Owner to match the Source LUN Default SP Owner and trespass the LUN to match the Default SP owner.  LUNS used for San Copy should not be trespassed.

Resolution

Trespass back the LUN to its original owner.
