Symptoms

De back-upoptimalisatiemodus is gewijzigd voor de VMware Protection Group. 

De beveiligingsintegratie van NetWorker VMware is geconfigureerd met het vProxy-apparaat. De back-ups voor een VMware Protection-groep mislukken wat aangeeft dat de back-upmodus niet overeenkomt met de virtuele machine (VM). De details en het logboek van de back-upactie tonen:

Cause

De back-upoptimalisatiemodus is gewijzigd voor de VMware Protection Group na het uitvoeren van de eerste volledige back-up op niveau nul. Als u overschakelt naar de back-upoptimalisatiemodus van een VM, is een nieuwe volledige back-up (niveau-nul) vereist om als basis te dienen voor toekomstige back-ups.

Resolution

Wijzig de configuratie van de back-upactie om een back-up op volledig niveau af te dwingen voor de nieuwe optimalisatiemodus. Zodra de back-up op volledig niveau is voltooid, kan de configuratie van de back-upactie worden gewijzigd in incrementeel.

Additional Information

Zorg ervoor dat het Data Domain-apparaat voldoende capaciteit heeft. Tijdens de overgang bestaan beide back-upmodi naast elkaar, waarbij het storagegebruik wordt verdubbeld totdat de laatste Optimized for Capacity-back-up verloopt volgens de retentieperiode. Hierna zal het opslagverbruik weer normaal worden.
