Symptoms

SP 중 하나가 교체되었습니다.

SP를 교체한 후 Unity 어레이는 SP 중 하나의 SAS 확장기를 장애 발생으로 보고하고 성능 저하 상태로 전환합니다.

(Unisphere에서) 다음과 같은 오류 메시지가 표시될 수 있습니다.

The SAS expander in Storage Processor SP X has faulted (Part Number 303-297-005C-05, Serial Number XXXXXXXXXXXXXX).

SAS expander in the Storage Processor (SP) has faulted. Check the system logs and try rebooting the SP. If the problem persists, you may need to replace the SP.

 

Cause

다른 'SP Expander' 펌웨어 개정 버전이 있는 SP를 삽입하면 'SP Expander' 펌웨어 개정 버전과 일치하지 않는 버전이 감지됩니다.

이로 인해 Unity는 스토리지 프로세서 중 하나에서 SAS 확장기에 장애가 발생했다고 보고합니다.

 

Resolution

SP 교체 후 'SP Expander' 펌웨어 개정 버전은 몇 시간 내에 자동으로 업그레이드됩니다.

  1. 새 'SP 확장기' 펌웨어를 성공적으로 업그레이드한 후 오류가 사라집니다.
    오류를 해결하려면 관리 서비스를 재시작해야 할 수도 있습니다(SP를 교체한 후 몇 시간 후).

Additional Information

  • 경우에 따라 두 SP 확장기 모두 2.20.0의 펌웨어 개정에서 실행되고 있었습니다
  • SP A는 특정 날짜 02:25:56에 교체되었으며 'SP Expander' 펌웨어 개정 버전 1.4.0에서 실행 중이었습니다.
  • 그런 다음 Unity가 02:28:11에 "스토리지 프로세서 SP A의 SAS 확장기에 장애가 발생했습니다"를 보고했습니다
  • SP A에서 04:25:30에 'SP Expander' 펌웨어 업그레이드가 성공했으며 관리 서비스를 재시작한 후 오류가 지워졌습니다.
