Symptoms

其中一個 SP 已更換。

更換 SP 後，Unity 陣列會將其中一個 SP 中的 SAS 擴充卡回報為故障，並進入降級狀態。

可看到下列錯誤訊息 （從 Unisphere）：

The SAS expander in Storage Processor SP X has faulted (Part Number 303-297-005C-05, Serial Number XXXXXXXXXXXXXX).

SAS expander in the Storage Processor (SP) has faulted. Check the system logs and try rebooting the SP. If the problem persists, you may need to replace the SP.

 

Cause

插入具有不同「SP 擴充器」韌體修訂版的 SP 時，會偵測到「SP 擴充器」韌體修訂版不相符。

因此，Unity 回報其中一個儲存處理器中的 SAS 擴充板發生故障。

 

Resolution

更換 SP 後，「SP Expander」韌體修訂版會在數小時內自動升級。

  1. 在成功升級新的「SP Expander」韌體後，錯誤應該會清除。
    您可能需要重新啟動管理服務以清除錯誤 （在更換 SP 數小時後）。

  2. 如果錯誤仍然存在，請聯絡 Dell 技術支援團隊。

 

Additional Information

  • 在一個案例中，兩個「SP 擴充卡」都執行 2.20.0 的韌體修訂版
  • SP A 已在特定日期 02：25：56 更換，且執行的是「SP Expander」韌體修訂版 1.4.0
  • 隨後 Unity 於 02：28：11 回報「儲存處理器 SP A 中的 SAS 擴充板發生故障」
  • SP A 上的「SP Expander」韌體升級於 04：25：30 成功，在重新啟動管理服務後，錯誤已清除。
