Symptoms

更换了一个 SP。

更换 SP 后，Unity 阵列将其中一个 SP 中的 SAS 扩展器报告为出现故障并进入降级状态。

可以看到以下错误消息（从 Unisphere）：

The SAS expander in Storage Processor SP X has faulted (Part Number 303-297-005C-05, Serial Number XXXXXXXXXXXXXX).

SAS expander in the Storage Processor (SP) has faulted. Check the system logs and try rebooting the SP. If the problem persists, you may need to replace the SP.

 

Cause

插入具有不同“SP Expander”固件版本的 SP 时，将检测到“SP Expander”固件版本不匹配。

因此，Unity 报告其中一个存储处理器中的 SAS 扩展器出现故障。

 

Resolution

更换 SP 后，“SP 扩展器”固件版本会在几个小时内自动升级。

  1. 成功升级新的“SP Expander”固件后，错误应清除。
    您可能需要重新启动管理服务才能清除错误（在更换 SP 几个小时后）。

Additional Information

  • 在一种情况下，两个“SP 扩展器”都在固件版本 2.20.0 上运行
  • SP A 在特定日期的 02：25：56 更换，它在“SP Expander”固件版本 1.4.0 上运行
  • 然后，Unity 在 02：28：11 报告“存储处理器 SP A 中的 SAS 扩展器出现故障”
  • SP A 上的“SP Expander”固件升级于 04：25：30 成功，重新启动管理服务后，错误被清除。
