Symptoms

一部の.xlsxおよび.pdfファイルのリストア ジョブが失敗し、ログ ファイルに次のエラーが記録されます。

影響を受けたファイルは復元されますが、ファイルが破損しているように見えるため、ExcelまたはAcrobat Readerで開くことができません。

"Excel cannot open the file 'filename.xlsx' because the file format for the file extension is not valid. Verify that the file has not been corrupted and that the file extension matches the format of the file."

同じリストア ジョブからの他の.xlxsファイルまたは.pdfファイルがリストアされ、開くことができます。

Cause

この動作は、同じリストア ジョブによってNTFSパーティションにリストアされたファイルと、異なるファイル ヘッダー(NTFS、およびFAT32)を持つファイルの組み合わせによるものです。

警告に記載されているファイルには、FAT32ファイル ヘッダーがあります。これらのファイルは、FAT32パーティションを持つ古いWindows 2003サーバーで作成され、NTFSパーティションを持つシステムに移動されました。

Resolution

この問題は、avtarバイナリーのコードの問題として特定され、すでに対処されています。現在のAvamarバージョンでは、この問題は発生しません。

現在のAvamarバージョンのいずれかで問題が発生する場合は、次の手順で回避できます。
  1. リストア処理の前に、フラグ --x06=4096 エージェントパスのavtar.cmdファイル内 <client-install-folder>\var」
  2. これらのFAT32ファイルの復元を実行し、復元後にフラグを削除します。
 
注：
  • このフラグは、FAT32ヘッダーを持つファイルをNTFSパーティションにリストアするために設計されました。
  • このフラグはFAT32ファイルタイプにのみ使用でき、NTFSファイルタイプを復元できません。
  • FAT32ファイルの復元が完了したら、avtar.cmdファイルからフラグを削除し、必要な場合にのみ再度使用する必要があります。
