Under en fuld nedlukning af VxRail-enheden fik alle vCenter-handlinger timeout. Deaktivering af HA, migrering af tjenestens VM'er osv

Cause

vCenter kan ikke fungere pga. manglende DNS.  I denne kundes miljø findes DNS VM erne på VxRail-enheden som en normal VM.

Resolution

Løsning: Tænd for en af DNS-server-VM'erne, og prøv at lukke den igen manuelt, når alle andre VM er er lukket ned.  
Alternativt kan du pege vCenter-enheden mod en DNS-server, der ikke er på VxRail.

Additional Information

Anbefalinger: VxRail vCenter-enheden skal have en DNS, der peger på en server, der ikke er hostet på VxRail-klyngen.
Hvis ikke, bør DNS VM en være en af de sidste VM er, der lukkes ned, og den skal placeres på den sidste ESXi-server, der skal lukkes ned.

En kunde stødte også på dette problem med Log Insight VM, der stadig kører.
