Symptoms

Farklı tesislerdeki iki ECS birleştirilmelidir.
DR VDC'yi birincil ECS'ye eklemeye çalıştığınızda kullanıcı arayüzünde aşağıdaki hata mesajı gösterilir:

  
Virtual Data Center creation failure. Be sure that you have correctly entered the IP address(s) of online devices and that Data Services has completed initialization. Please correct input or retry after a few minutes. Service Error details: Error 7000 (http: 500): An error occurred in the API Service. An error occurred in the API service. Cause: error insertVdcInfo.

Cause

İkincil ECS'deki VDC, birincil VDC aracılığıyla ve federasyona eklendiğinde oluşturulur. Önceden oluşturulmuş bir VDC varsa prosedür başarısız olur.

Resolution

İkincil sitede önceden oluşturulmuş bir VDC. Birincil siteye eklenmeye çalışılan şey çalışmaz ve yukarıdaki hata mesajına neden olur.
En son ECS Yönetici Rehberi'nde yer alan prosedüre göre, ikincil ECS sitesi için yalnızca bir depolama havuzu oluşturulması ve geçerli bir lisansın yüklenmesi gerekir.


İkincil ECS de VDC oluşturulmamalıdır. Birincil site ECS aracılığıyla oluşturulur.

 

Ensure the site you are adding has a valid license uploaded and has at least one
storage pool in the Ready state.

If you encounter this issue, open a Service Request with Dell EMC customer support and note this KB.
