Symptoms

VMのOVFの導入中にvCenterに表示されるエラー:

The operation failed for an undetermined reason. Typically this problem occurs due to certificates that the browser does not trust. If you are using self-signed or custom certificates, open the URL below in a new browser tab and accept the certificate, then retry the operation.

Cause

これは、ブラウザーに証明書がない場合に発生する可能性があります。

Resolution

  1. Webブラウザーから、ポート番号を追加せずにvCenter ServerまたはvCenter Server仮想アプライアンスのベースURLに移動します
    例えば：     
    https://vcenter.domain.com/
  2. 右側のグレーのボックスの下部にある[信頼されたルートCA証明書のダウンロード]リンクをクリックして、ファイルをダウンロードします。
  3. ZIPファイルの内容を解凍します。
  4. Windows OSの場合は、次の手順に従って証明書ファイルを信頼できる証明書としてインストールし、プロセスで問題が発生した場合はシステム管理者に問い合わせてください。信頼されたルート証明書を管理する |Microsoft Learn このハイパーリンクをクリックすると、デル・テクノロジーズ以外のWebサイトにアクセスします。
  5. ブラウザー(Chromeなど)に移動し、次の手順に従って証明書をインポートします。設定>詳細> 証明書の管理> 信頼されたルート証明書>CA> インポートをクリック> に移動し、ダウンロードした証明書ファイルを選択します。
