Symptoms

Kan niet met SSH naar de MDS-switch gaan, ontvangt de volgende foutmelding:

"Remote Side unexpectedly closed network connection"

SSH van werkende switch naar niet-werkende switch produceert de volgende fout:

"SSH_exchange_identification:read: Connection reset by peer"

Cause

Mogelijk vastgelopen SSH-proces

Resolution

Tijdelijke oplossing:
  1. Verwijder SSH en schakel deze opnieuw in om SSH-services opnieuw te starten en de connectiviteit te herstellen.
  2. Sluit aan op de consolepoort en voer het volgende uit:
Disable SSH:
conf t
no feature ssh  (wait a few mins)

Re-enable SSH:
conf t
feature ssh
  1. Controleer SSH-connectiviteit met Mgmt0 via netwerk of PuTTY.

Als het nog steeds niet lukt om SSH te verbinden, kan het nodig zijn om de RSA-sleutel te verwijderen en opnieuw te maken.
  1. Sluit aan op de consolepoort en voer het volgende uit:
config t
no feature ssh
no ssh key rsa 1024    <-- wait a few minutes

Re-enable SSH:
config ssh key rsa 1024
feature ssh
