Symptoms
NAS Server creation or deletion of Link Aggregation.
NAS server reports major issue with the following error message:
'The system is unable to detect an Ethernet port or link aggregation on which the NAS server network interface was configured. Switch the interface to use another Ethernet port or link aggregation. If this does not help, restart the management software. If the problem persists, contact your service provider.'

Cause
The error is reported because the NAS server interface is unable to detect the port on which it is supposed to be created. It can be due to various reasons.
Below is one such scenario:
A NAS server with interface created on link aggregation x x is replicated to the destination array where similar link aggregation is not present.
So, from the destination side the NAS Server is unable to detect this link aggregation for its interface, hence reporting degraded with the error mentioned above.

Resolution
Check which Unity Ethernet port connects to the gateway of NAS Server interface IP and assign that port to the NAS Server following below steps:
Go to NAS Server properties > Network tab > Select the required interface and click on pencil icon to edit it > In the Ethernet port drop down select the required port > click OK
For the above scenario where the link aggregation is not present on destination side, create the required link aggregation on destination and assign it to the NAS server interface.
If creating link aggregation is not possible, then assign the port to the NAS server interface which connects it to the respective gateway.
