Symptoms
The below error occurs while migrating a VM to another node in the cluster.
The issue occurs regardless of whether the VM is shut down or not.

A general system error occurred: vim.fault.NotFound
Cause
VM has been lost from inventory.
Resolution
Perform the below steps:
- Open vSphere Web Client and select VMs and templates
- Find your VM and right-click and select Remove From Inventory.
- In vSphere Web Client, browse the Marvin datastore where the VM resides.
- Find the <servername>.vmx file.
- Right-click the VMX file and add to the inventory.
