Symptoms

Під час запуску 'symdm create' для NDM з'являється така помилка: 

STARTING a DM 'CREATE VALIDATE' operation for SG 'MY_STORAGE GROUP'.

EMC:SYMDM                 devmask_select_portg The initiator 50***************224 does not meet the DM minimal number of ports requirement
EMC:SYMDM                 devmask_select_portg The initiator 50***************226 does not meet the DM minimal number of ports requirement
EMC:SYMDM                 devmask_select_portg The initiator 50***************228 does not meet the DM minimal number of ports requirement

Cause

Ініціатор, на якого посилаються в журналі, знаходиться на вихідному масиві.
У цьому випадку він не був залогінений у кадрі.
Він також не був зонований на віддалену нову раму. 


 

Resolution

Видалено хост, на який скаржився NDM, з групи ініціаторів, і команда успішно виконана:
