Trying to delete a file system from GUI but the option is grayed out.

Cause

File system is mounted and root replication checkpoints are still there even after deleting the Replication session associated to that File system.

Resolution

Tried deleting the Filesystem from CLI and got "File system is mounted" error.

1) Unmount the file system.

$ server_umount {<movername>|ALL} -perm <fs_name>|<mount_point>

2) Try deleting the file system.

$ nas_fs -delete <fs_name>

Error 3104: <fs_name> : file system has backups in use.

3) Check if any active Replication session is going on for that File system and if any checkpoints are still there. If present then delete them.

$ nas_replicate -delete {<name>|id=<sessionId>} [-mode {source|destination|both}]

$ nas_fs -d ckpt_name

4) After deleting the Replication session also sometimes root replication checkpoints stays.

Delete them manually

5)Trying deleting the File system from GUI and it will be deleted successfully.
