Symptoms

NetWorker VMware Protection 集成配置了 vProxy 一体机。还原 Windows 2012 或更高版本的 Active Directory 域控制器虚拟机 （VM） 不会更新 msDS-GenerationId 值。在域控制器启动期间，将评估 msDS-GenerationId 以验证 VM 的状态是否已更改。由于 msDS-GenerationId 值与备份点相同，这可能会导致域中的 USN 回滚。

Cause

Resolution

解决方法：

  1. 运行 Active Directory 虚拟机的 “Restore as New” 恢复，不要选择 “power on automatically”选项。
  2. 等待还原过程完成。
  3. 在处于 “关机” 状态时拍摄快照。
  4. 运行恢复到快照并删除快照。
  5. 启动虚拟机，generationID 会更新。
