After installing PowerPath for Windows 6.1 on a Windows 2016, we see the following alerts during the cluster validation:

Cause
PowerPath for Windows 6.1 is dated September and October 2016 predating the date of Windows 2016.
Resolution
No resolution needed. The alert is cosmetic.
PowerPath 6.1 is quafied and fully supported on Windows Server 2016.
Note: PowerPath 6.1 is now EOL and it is recommended to upgrade to PowerPath 6.3 or later.
