Symptoms

MDM installerad på en värd som kör Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8.x eller CentOS 8.x.

Symptom

Följande fel visas antingen när showevents.py utförs direkt eller med hjälp av ett annat verktyg, t.ex. "Få information".

SyntaxError: invalid syntax

 

Påverkan

Det går inte att visa eller samla in MDM-händelser.

Cause

Informationen showevents.py verktyget är endast kompatibelt med Python 2.

Resolution

Utför följande steg.

  • Bekräfta att Python 2 är tillgängligt på alla MDM-hanterarvärdar.

  • Ändra verktygets tolk till Python 2.
    Ändra verktygets första rad (shebang-sekvens) till följande:

    #!/usr/bin/python2
