Cause

  • Proxyn är ansluten till esx på port 902 men den försöker ansluta till VM-disken mer än en gång, men den misslyckas på grund av nätverksproblem (dvs. paketsläpp) med följande fel:

Resolution

Alternativ lösning:
  1. Värd för VMotion Den virtuella maskin som inte kunde säkerhetskopieras (ovan kallas "VM_Name") till en annan ESX-server.
  2. Utför en säkerhetskopiering på begäran av den migrerade virtuella maskinen.
  3. När det är klart bör kunden engagera sitt nätverksteam för att kontrollera varför paket försvinner mellan proxyn (ovan kallad "Proxy_Name") och ESX (kallad "esx_name").

Alternativ lösning:

Kontrollera ESX-serverns post i DNS för att se om proxyn som används för den här gruppsäkerhetskopieringen kan matcha ESX-värden med samma post.  

Så här gör du:
  1. Öppna ett kitt till proxyn som används för säkerhetskopieringen (dvs. Proxy_Name).
  2. Kör kommandot nslookup <esx_FQN>.
  3. Om resultatet är negativt ber du kunden att ändra esx-posten i DNS eller lägga till varje proxyfil /etc/hosts med rätt esx FQN och IP.
