Symptoms
After a period of time, the UI session times out and the user has to log in again.
Cause
This is per design for security reasons.
Resolution
From the Security Guide: (Page 9)
Dell EMC Unity™ Family Security Configuration Guide Version 5.1
Session rules
Unisphere sessions have the following characteristics:
● Expiration term of one hour
● Session timeout is not configurable
● Session IDs are generated during authentication and used for the duration of each session
