Symptoms
如果密碼遺失，系統管理員可重設 VxRail Manager 的 root 密碼。
Cause
root 密碼可能已遺失。
Resolution
請遵循這些步驟以重設 root 密碼：
- 從 vCenter 重新啟動 VxRail Manager 虛擬機器 （VM） 的客體 （請勿重設），然後在出現下方畫面時按下 E （圖 1）。

- 新增
init=/bin/bash如以下螢幕所示（如圖 2 中的紅色方塊所示），然後按下F10 or Control+X.

- 輸入以變更 密碼
passwd，然後 更新 新密碼。您可能會看到下列錯誤 （圖 3）：

如果您看到 "Authentication token lock busy,」錯誤， 輸入：
mount -o remount rw -t ext3 / chmod -v 4711 /usr/bin/passwd

- 再次輸入變更密碼
passwd，然後 更新 新密碼。

- 結束 VxRail Manager 主控台，然後從 vCenter 按一下 VxRail Manager VM 上的重新啟動 客體 或關機，然後按一下開機。
重要注意事項：如果您從 VM 電源選項選取「重設」，而非「重新啟動客體」或「關機」，則會還原您在 GRUB 中所做的變更。您必須再次進行這些步驟，並使用正確的 VM 電源選項。
