EMC SourceOne Email Management Journaling-activiteiten mislukken in een gemengde omgeving van Microsoft Exchange 2010 en Microsoft Exchange 2016.

Cause

Conflict als gevolg van Microsoft-updates op Exchange 2010 in de gemengde omgeving.

Resolution

Met coëxistentie van 2010/2016 zijn er bepaalde vereisten om het te laten werken.

Deze vereisten zijn:    
  • Het postvak van het serviceaccount moet altijd op de lagere exchange-versie staan. Het zou de laatste mailbox moeten zijn die naar 2016 gaat. Exchange 2010 moet worden geconfigureerd met RPC via https.
  • In Exchange 2016 moet RPC via https zijn ingeschakeld. Exchange 2016 heeft standaard MAPI via https, wat niet wordt ondersteund door SourceOne. Gebruikers moeten RPC via https inschakelen en correct configureren.
  • Alle SourceOne servers moeten alleen Outlook 2010 SP2 + KB2889819 hebben. Geen andere HF of update. Updates voor Outlook moeten worden uitgeschakeld.
  • Het profiel moet zijn geconfigureerd in Outlook om Outlook RPC via https te laten gebruiken met de proxyserver die naar de 2016-server verwijst. Configureer AutoDiscovery voor deze wijzigingen.
  • Stel de juiste postvakmachtigingen in op 2016 volgens de installatiehandleiding. 

Additional Information

De Microsoft-KB2878254 en KB2889819 zijn teruggetrokken door Microsoft. De KB2889819 hotfix kan worden aangevraagd bij EMC SourceOne support.
