Symptoms

After upgrading the backup server to NW 19.2.0.1, the following error is seen when trying to add Windows packages to the Software Repository in the Linux backup server.

[root@nw192 windows]# nsrpush -a -p NetWorker -v 19.2.0.1 -P win_x64 -m /windows/win_x64/ -W
Failed to stat: /windows/win_x64/networkr\lgtoxtdclnt-19.2.0.1.exe.
Not enough space on /nsr/repository to add selected products

Add to repository status: failed

Cause

If you look at the error message, it looks like the path is built wrong, and includes a "\" at the very end. This is probably the cause as that path cannot be found.

Resolution

This is as per design, customer needs to edit the metafile according to their OS and path location.

edit the metafile LGTO_METAFILE.winx64 and change the \ (backslash) to / forward slash and then it works

BUNDLE_FILE=networkr/NetWorker-19.2.0.1.exe
 INSTALLER_PATH=networkr/NetWorker-19.2.0.1.exe
 PACKAGE_FILE=networkr/lgtoxtdclnt-19.2.0.1.exe
 PKG_INSTALLER_PATH=networkr/lgtoxtdclnt-19.2.0.1.exe
