Symptoms



Uzly 6. generace vyžadují k provádění aktualizací firmwaru uzlů použití karty trezoru M.2 v každém uzlu.  Pokud karta trezoru M.2 chybí nebo selhala, dojde při pokusech o provedení aktualizací firmwaru těchto uzlů k chybě.

Kromě chyb v zobrazení upgradu bude mít soubor protokolu /var/log/isi_firmware.log na uzlu, kde došlo k chybě, řádek, který obsahuje "no such object ada0" podobný následujícímu:

Chybějící karta trezoru

Resolution

Pokud k tomu dojde, je třeba vyměnit kartu trezoru M.2 v uzlu.

Skript pro kontrolu stavu Isilon On-Cluster Analysis zahrnuje kontrolu, která identifikuje, kdy karta trezoru M.2 chybí nebo překročila prahovou hodnotu stavu SMART, a může hlásit výsledky podobné těm následujícím: 
Vault Card                                        FAIL
  FAIL: The vault card located at ada0 in the following Generation 6 nodes are not reporting in the output of camcontrol devlist: 1
  FAIL: The vault card located at ada0 in the following Generation 6 nodes are reporting SMART status is threshold exceeded: 1

To run only the check for the Vault Card, use the following additional argument when running the Isilon On-Cluster Analysis tool: --run=checkVaultCard
