Symptoms



Los nodos de sexta generación requieren el uso de una tarjeta de vault M.2 en cada nodo para realizar actualizaciones de firmware.  Si la tarjeta de vault M.2 no está presente o ha fallado, los intentos por realizar actualizaciones de firmware en esos nodos encontrarán un error.

Además de los errores en la vista de actualización, el archivo de registro /var/log/isi_firmware.log, en el nodo donde se detectó el error, tendrá una línea que incluye "no such object ada0" similar a la siguiente:

Cause

Falta la tarjeta de vault

Resolution

Cuando se encuentre, se debe reemplazar la tarjeta de vault M.2 en el nodo.

Additional Information

El script de evaluación del estado del análisis en clúster de Isilon incluye una comprobación para identificar cuando falta la tarjeta de vault M.2 o ha superado su umbral de estado SMART y puede informar resultados similares a los siguientes: 
Vault Card                                        FAIL
  FAIL: The vault card located at ada0 in the following Generation 6 nodes are not reporting in the output of camcontrol devlist: 1
  FAIL: The vault card located at ada0 in the following Generation 6 nodes are reporting SMART status is threshold exceeded: 1

To run only the check for the Vault Card, use the following additional argument when running the Isilon On-Cluster Analysis tool: --run=checkVaultCard
