If your Dell PowerEdge system is equipped with an LCD panel, it can be used to configure or view the iDRAC IP address of the system. The LCD panel is available only on an optional front bezel.

This article provides information on how to find the iDRAC IP address from the LCD on the PowerEdge Server.

Check the IP Address


Note: If your PowerEdge does not have the LCD panel, this step is not applied.

Note: If the front bezel cover is included, install it.

 

  1. Press the tick button beside the LCD once.

  • Press > or < button to select the View from the displayed menu and press tick button.
  • Ensure the iDRAC IP is selected and press the tick button.
  • Select the IPv4 from the displayed menu and press tick button.
  • Select the IP from the displayed menu and press tick button.
  • The IP address set up is displayed on the LCD.
