This is an informational alert that there are not enough drives in a specific tier to support parity RAID which requires a minimum of five managed disks for RAID 5-5 and six managed disks for RAID 6-6. A system which is unable to use parity RAID results in inefficient use of space as it is forced into using exclusively RAID 10 (100% overhead) or RAID 10-Dual Mirror (200% overhead).
To be able to use parity RAID, additional drives should be added to allow its use. If additional drives are not planned, right-click and acknowledge this alert.
