Error 1603 When Uninstalling Dell Endpoint Security Suite Enterprise

To disable the Prevent Shutdown from Device policy:

1. Log in to the Remote Management Console at https://server.domain.com:8443/webui/.
   Note:

   • Server.domain.com represents the fully qualified domain name (FQDN) of the Dell Security Management (Dell Data Protection) server.
   • 8443 is the default port, but may differ in your environment.
2. Expand Populations.
3. Under Populations, click either Enterprise, Endpoint Groups, or Endpoints.
   Note: If Endpoint Groups or Endpoints are selected, additional groups or endpoints must be specified before continuing to step 4.
   
   
4. Under Threat Protection, click Advanced Threat Prevention.
   
5. Show advanced settings.
   
6. Under Execution Control, clear Prevent Service Shutdown from Device.
   
7. In the upper right corner, select Save.
   
8. In the left menu pane, expand Management and then select Commit.
   
9. Optionally, make a Comment on the change and then select Commit.
10. Reboot the affected endpoints.
11. On reboot, retry uninstalling Dell Endpoint Security Suite Enterprise
