Cause

De foutmelding varieert bij het gebruik van cd- of dvd-brandersoftware van derden met alleen het Dell Encryption UDF-beleid . De foutmelding kan het volgende omvatten, maar is niet beperkt tot:

  • De schijf is niet bruikbaar.
  • Media niet compatibel
  • Het formaat wordt niet ondersteund.

Resolution

Het Alleen UDF-beleid moet zijn ingeschakeld om lees- of schrijfbewerkingen via cd's of dvd's toe te staan. Als het beleid niet is ingeschakeld, herkent het eindpunt geen cd's of dvd's die in de computer zijn geplaatst.

Dell Encryption ondersteunt de native lees- en schrijfmogelijkheden voor Windows-applicaties, cd's of dvd's wanneer deze worden gebruikt in combinatie met de optie om als USB te schrijven.

Opmerking: Vanaf Windows Vista biedt Dell Encryption geen ondersteuning meer voor software van derden wanneer de optie UDF only is ingeschakeld.
