Erro ao tentar instalar o Dell Encryption com o Dell Encryption External Media Service independente instalado

Quando o serviço Dell Encryption Enterprise External Media (anteriormente Dell Data Protection | External Media Edition) independente é instalado, e um usuário tenta instalar o Dell Encryption (anteriormente Dell Data Protection | Encryption), o endpoint pode apresentar um erro.

Os computadores exibem o seguinte erro ao instalar o Dell Encryption com o serviço Dell Encryption Enterprise External Media independente instalado:

Para evitar esse problema, desinstale o Serviço EME independente e instale o Dell Encryption. Se a instalação do Dell Encryption já tiver sido tentada e apresentar falha, todos os componentes do EME foram removidos do computador e a instalação do Dell Encryption poderá ser executada novamente sem ações adicionais.
