Clear a BIOS Password
Dell does not include Password clear Jumpers on the motherboards of its latest Inspiron and Vostro desktops:
- You need the Master System Password to clear the admin and computer password.
- When you contact Dell Support, you are asked for a code that is shown on the locked system’s screen. The agent needs that code to get a 32 character master password generated, then the agent then relays that code to you.
New Diagnostic Error Codes
