Wake-on-LAN (WOL) werkt niet op het Red Hat Enterprise Linux-besturingssysteem met behulp van de Aquantia 5G-netwerkinterfacekaart (NIC) op de Precision Tower 3420 (MT of SFF), 5820, 7820 of 7920. Dit artikel bevat meer informatie over het probleem.

Cause

WOL werkt niet in Red Hat Enterprise Linux met Aquantia 5G NIC. WOL kan niet worden ingeschakeld in de Aquantia 5G NIC-driver in de Linux-kernel. Er treedt een fout op wanneer u de WOL-functie inschakelt onder de Aquantia 5G NIC-driver in Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.3.

Resolution

U kunt de Aquantia 5G NIC niet gebruiken met de functie WOL in het Red Hat Enterprise Linux-besturingssysteem. Gebruik in plaats daarvan de onboard of Intel add-in NIC.

Verwacht wordt dat deze WOL-functie is toegevoegd aan een latere Aquantia Linux-driver.
