Here's the basic process:

  1. Download your BIOS file from Dell's Driver & Downloads website
  2. Save it to your C: drive (makes it easier to find)
  3. Open Command Prompt as administrator
    • Click Start, type "cmd"
    • Right-click "cmd.exe" and select "Run as administrator"
  4. Navigate to your C: drive by typing cd\ and pressing Enter
  5. Run the update by typing biosflashname.exe /forceit and pressing Enter

Replace "biosflashname" with your actual BIOS file name
