3 Small flat-head screwdriver    

 

  1. Pre-removal instructions before removing the stylus and tether:

    1. During installation or removal of any hardware, always ensure that all data is backed up properly.

    2. Disconnect any telephone, network, or USB cables from the computer.

    3. Disconnect the computer and all attached devices from their electrical outlets.

  2. Establishing image.

  1. Pull the stylus out of its slot in the side of the computer.

  1. Release and remove the tether from the base of the computer.

  1. Slide the battery security latch towards the rear of the computer and then pull it to the right side.

  1. Press down on the latch and open the hard drive door.

  1. Pull on the blue tab to pull the hard drive out of the computer.

  1. Remove the four screws securing the hard drive to the mSATA storage cover.

  1. Remove the two screws securing the mSATA hard drive to the mSATA board.
