Note: Using a large Phillips or flat-head screwdriver may result in damage to the head of the screws. This would make their removal impossible without specialty tools which are not available to our onsite engineers.
 

 

  1. Pre-removal instructions before removing the side cover:

    1. During installation or removal of any hardware, always ensure that all data is backed up properly.

    2. Disconnect any telephone, network, or USB cables from the computer.

    3. Disconnect the computer and all attached devices from their electrical outlets.

  2. Pull the release latch away from the rear of the chassis [1] and pull the cover away from the top of the chassis and lift up and away [2,3].

Removing the side cover

  1. Pre-removal instructions before removing the front bezel:

    1. During installation or removal of any hardware, always ensure that all data is backed up properly.

    2. Disconnect any telephone, network, or USB cables from the computer.

    3. Disconnect the computer and all attached devices from their electrical outlets.

    4. Remove the Side Cover.

  2. Pry up the three (3) retention tabs along the open side of the chassis [1] and rotate the bezel towards the other side of the chassis [2] to remove it from the chassis. [3]

    4. Remove the Side Cover.

  2. Lift up the PSU hinge to disconnect and unroute all the power cables from the Motherboard and drives [1,2,3].

  1. Ensure that all cables are disconnected [1] and remove the two screws securing the Power supply bracket to the chassis [2] and lift the bracket out of the chassis [3]. Then remove the four screws securing the PSU to the chassis [4] and lift the PSU out of the computer [5].

    1. During installation or removal of any hardware, always ensure that all data is backed up properly.

    2. Disconnect any telephone, network, or USB cables from the computer.

  3. Remove the two screws that secure the IO card to the chassis [2] and then pull it out of the computer [3].
