如果尚未向终端用户系统授予完全管理员权限，SupportAssist 可能会在终端用户系统上生成错误消息（图 1）。

管理员可能不希望向终端用户授予完全管理员权限，因此以下步骤应使 SupportAssist 能够在终端用户系统上具有受限权限的情况下正常运行：
- 在“开始”菜单中键入服务
- 右键单击“服务”并以管理员身份运行
- 键入管理员密码
- 找到并双击“Dell SupportAssist Agent”服务
- 转到“ 登录 ”选项卡，而不是“本地系统帐户”，单击“此帐户”单选按钮并填写管理员信息
SupportAssist 现在应使用管理员权限运行，而无需向系统授予完全管理员权限。
