Symptoms
Upgrade the firmware.
In order to resolve this issue, call Belkin Technical Support at 310-898-1100, extension 2263, and request the firmware upgrade.
When certain models of Belkin KVM switches are connected to a Dell™ server, the mouse, keyboard, or both may not function correctly, even if the KVM switch is set to the server when the server is booted.
Belkin is aware of this problem and has a firmware upgrade that will correct the problem. KVM Switches with firmware below version 1.7 may experience this problem. The KVM switch should have a sticker attached to the back with a <V> and then the number of the firmware revision.
