Instructions
- All storage volumes on the VPLEX will not meet the criteria for a VPLEX meta volume.
- Storage volumes will meet the VPLEX meta volume criteria only when the volumes have the following;
- Storage volumes must be unclaimed.
- For creating the meta data volumes the storage volumes must be at least 78GB to 80GB in capacity.
- The available storage volumes cannot be used for any other purpose.
- The end user can list storage volumes to find which meet the criteria for a VPLEX meta volume by using the following command:
configuration show-meta-volume-candidates
The example below is showing as blank indicating that none of the storage volumes are eligible for meta volume.
