Symptoms

Nouvelle protection ou modification de la disposition des disques pour la protection

existante Les événements CSV affichent les éléments suivants :  
VMAX_000002,AS-Server,VMAX operation failed. Error: Not able to find SRDF group information for the source volume 001AF in array 000xxxxxxxxx
GENL_000044,AS-Server,The following application items are on non-configured storage system or on an unsupported storage configuration: [DBNAME]. Register the required storage system in AppSync and/or verify that the underlying storage configuration is supported by AppSync. Also, verify if the storage preference set in the Service Plan is supported by the underlying array.
SPP_000037,AS-Server,Cannot determine the storage type where application DBNAME resides. Verify if the application is located on a supported EMC storage that has been added to AppSync.

Cause

L’un des numéros d’unité logique (LUN) sources ne se trouve pas sur une baie prise en charge et l’erreur SRDF est erronée.

Resolution

Identifiez le LUN qui ne se trouve pas sur la baie prise en charge et assurez-vous qu’il réside sur une baie prise en charge.

Additional Information

Pour l’incident spécifique à l’origine de cet article :
  • Toutes les LUN sources sont sur VMAX sauf une.
  • Tous les disques sont des VMware vDisks.
Le nom universel (WWN) renvoyé par vCenter peut être consulté dans le journal du serveur AppSync pour faciliter l’identification du LUN qui ne se trouve pas sur une baie prise en charge.

Les cinq lignes suivantes du serveur AppSync sont visibles dans le processus permettant à AppSync de trouver le WWN à partir de vCenter. La première ligne contient le nom du système de fichiers. La dernière ligne indique le WWN renvoyé par vCenter, qui commence par 6000 et indique une baie Dell.

Toutefois, pour les éléments suivants provenant d’un autre système de fichiers, le WWN résultant pour le vDisk commence par 624a, ce qui indique qu’il ne se trouve pas sur une baie Dell prise en charge :
