Dell OpenManage Integration with Microsoft Windows Admin Center is an extension for Microsoft Windows Admin Center. Microsoft Windows Admin Center is a lightweight, browser-based application that provides troubleshooting and managing of individual windows servers, clusters, and hyper-converged infrastructure. The Dell OpenManage Integration with Microsoft Windows Admin Center extension enables streamlined lifecycle management at the server level for PowerEdge servers running Microsoft Windows Server, clusters based of AX nodes part of the Dell Integrated System for Microsoft Azure Stack HCI and AX nodes, Storage Spaces Direct Ready Nodes part of the Dell HCI Solutions for Microsoft Window Server and Hyper-V, Failover clusters based of PowerEdge servers running on-premises and Azure hybrid environments. It simplifies the tasks of IT administrators by remotely managing PowerEdge servers, clusters, and Dell Microsoft HCI Solutions throughout their life cycle.

While deploying an Azure Stack HCI cluster using AX nodes in Windows Admin Center, use OpenManage Integration snap-in enables you to update target nodes while creating an Azure Stack HCI cluster using Windows Admin Center. This feature also helps you to comply hardware configurations of selected nodes with Dell recommended hardware configurations.
With the use of Full Stack Cluster-Aware Updating capability in OpenManage Integration snap-in, perform hardware updates: firmware, BIOS, and drivers on Dell Integrated System for Microsoft Azure Stack HCI (also known as Azure Stack HCI) cluster nodes in addition to the operating system update available in the Windows Admin Center.

Dell OpenManage Integration with Microsoft Windows Admin Center is available for free with basic management features enabled for all supported devices or licensed for advanced lifecycle management with a premium license for systems with an iDRAC9. The premium license is available for PowerEdge servers or for Azure Stack Hyperconverged Infrastructure (HCI) supporting both AX nodes and S2D Ready Nodes.

A premium license is a perpetual license that is valid for the life of a server, and can be bound to the Service Tag of only one server at a time. Premium license can be included at time of server purchase or purchased separately and downloaded from Dell Digital Locker.
OMIMSWAC licenses can be managed on either an individual server basis or through the Dell License Manager which is a one-to-many license and deployment tool.
Windows Admin Center is built as an extensible platform allowing the install, uninstall, and update of individual extensions. For convenience, the Dell OpenManage Integration extension can be installed from the Microsoft NuGet feed (requires Internet connectivity) or manually from a file share or local drive.
