Cause

Korkeat CRC-virheet ovat oireita Layer 1 -ongelmista. Vika voi johtua viallisesta kaapelista, SFP:stä tai verkkokortista (NIC).

Edellä olevat tilastot osoittavat, että isännät 1, 2 ja 4 saivat saapuvaa CRC:tä (saapuva) isännältä 3, ja isäntä3 saattaa olla vSAN-suorituskykyongelmia aiheuttavien CRC-virheiden lähde.

Resolution

  1. Voit nähdä CRC-virheiden lisääntymisen suorittamalla komennon:
watch esxcli network nic stats get -n=vmnic1 | grep "Receive CRC errors"
  1. Uplink to vmnic1:
esxcli network nic down -n vmnic1

Huomautus: Varmista uplink-vikasietoisuus (esimerkiksi vmnic0, vmnic1), ennen kuin muutat linkin tilan down-tilaan. Tässä vaiheessa CRC-virheet eivät kasva eikä vSAN-viive pitäisi näkyä.
 
  1. Korvaa vSAN uplink1 -verkkoon yhdistetty SFP ja muuta nousevan siirtotien tilaksi UP. Harkitse myös uplink-kaapelin vaihtamista siinä tapauksessa, että SFP:n vaihtaminen ei estänyt CRC-virheitä.
