Cause

Höga CRC-fel är symptom på problem med lager 1. Det kan vara en defekt kabel, SFP eller nätverkskort (NIC).

Ovanstående statistik är en indikation på att host1, host2 och host4 tog emot CRC (inkommande) från host3, och host3 kan vara källan till CRC-felen som orsakar vSAN-prestandaproblem.

Resolution

  1. Om du vill se ökningen av CRC-fel kör du kommandot:
watch esxcli network nic stats get -n=vmnic1 | grep "Receive CRC errors"
  1. Stäng av upplänk till vmnic1:
esxcli network nic down -n vmnic1

Obs! Kontrollera att det finns redundans för överordnad länk (till exempel vmnic0, vmnic1) innan du ändrar länkstatusen till nedläge. I det här läget bör du inte se någon ökning av CRC-fel och ingen vSAN-latens.
 
  1. Byt ut SFP som är ansluten till vSAN-upplänk1 och ändra upplänksstatusen till UPP. Överväg även att byta ut kabeln till upplänken om CRC-felen inte åtgärdades när du bytte ut SFP.
