Cause

Vysoký počet chyb CRC je příznakem problémů vrstvy 1. Může to být vadný kabel, SFP nebo karta síťového rozhraní (NIC).

Výše uvedené statistiky znamenají, že hostitelé 1, hostitel2 a hostitel 4 přijímali CRC (příchozí) od hostitele3 a hostitel3 může být zdrojem chyb CRC způsobujících problémy s výkonem sítě vSAN.

Resolution

  1. Chcete-li zobrazit přírůstek chyb CRC, spusťte příkaz:
watch esxcli network nic stats get -n=vmnic1 | grep "Receive CRC errors"
  1. Vypněte uplink na vmnic1:
esxcli network nic down -n vmnic1

Poznámka: Před změnou stavu odkazu na stav mimo provoz se ujistěte, že existuje redundance uplinků (například vmnic0, vmnic1). V tomto okamžiku by neměl docházet k nárůstu počtu chyb CRC ani k latenci sítě vSAN.
 
  1. Vyměňte port SFP, který je připojen k uplinku vSAN1, a změňte stav uplinku na UP. Zvažte také výměnu kabelu k uplink v případě, že výměna SFP nezastaví chyby CRC.
