Symptoms

Die folgende Fehlermeldung wird beim Versuch eines Upgrades angezeigt:

# system upgrade 6.2.1.30-663869.rpm

    The 'system upgrade' command upgrades the Data Domain OS. File access
    is interrupted during the upgrade. The system reboots automatically

    **** Upgrade failed: another upgrade is in progress.

Cause

Dieser Fehler tritt nur bei DD HA-Konfigurationen auf. Netzwerkrouting und HA-Code können die Peer-Node-Kommunikation beeinträchtigen und RPC-Fehler beim Ausführen der Befehlszeilenschnittstelle (CLI) verursachen. In den Protokollen werden Einträge wie die folgenden angezeigt:

Die CLI-Ausfälle können vermieden werden, wenn die HA-Peers ordnungsgemäß eingerichtet sind.

Resolution

  1. Überprüfen Sie, ob das HA-Paar mit einer CIFS-Freigabe oder einem NFS-Export ordnungsgemäß konfiguriert ist. Suchen Sie nach der folgenden Datei und entfernen Sie sie:
/ddvar/lock/upgrade_lock
  1. Starten Sie das Update neu.
Wenn das Problem durch die oben genannten Schritte nicht behoben wird, erzeugen Sie ein Support-Bundle und eröffnen Sie eine Anfrage für den technischen Support.
