Symptoms

Het volgende foutbericht wordt ontvangen wanneer u probeert te upgraden:

# system upgrade 6.2.1.30-663869.rpm

    The 'system upgrade' command upgrades the Data Domain OS. File access
    is interrupted during the upgrade. The system reboots automatically
    after the upgrade.

    **** Upgrade failed: another upgrade is in progress.

Cause

Deze fout treedt alleen op bij DD HA-configuraties. Netwerkroutering en HA-code kunnen van invloed zijn op de communicatie met peerknooppunten, waardoor RPC-fouten ontstaan bij het uitvoeren van de opdrachtregelinterface (CLI). In de logboeken zijn vermeldingen zoals hieronder te zien:

De CLI-fouten kunnen worden voorkomen als de HA-peers correct zijn ingesteld.

Resolution

  1. Controleer of het HA-paar correct is geconfigureerd met behulp van een CIFS-share of NFS-export. Controleer op het volgende bestand en verwijder het:
/ddvar/lock/upgrade_lock
  1. Start de update opnieuw.
Als de bovenstaande stappen het probleem niet verhelpen, genereert u een ondersteuningsbundel en opent u een aanvraag voor technische ondersteuning.
