Symptoms

Unisphere for PowerMax 9.1.0.18에서 ESXi vCenter Server xyz.abc.local을 등록할 때 다음 오류가 표시됩니다. 을 설정합니다.

"An error occurred while attempting to retrieve the certificate for ESXi:xyz.abc.local Error:com.emc.em.smc.VirtualIntegration.exceptions.VmWareException: Failed to retrieve the issuer certificate for ESXi: xyz.abc.local Please check that the CA certificate exists on the ESXi/vCenter Server."

 

참고: xyz.abc.local 은 IP 주소가 11.22.33.44인 ESXi 서버의 FQDN(Fully Qualified Domain Name)을 나타냅니다. 다음은 예입니다.

  • 신뢰할 수 있는 CA 서명 인증서가 사용되고 있습니다.
  • ESXi vCenter Server의 FQDN 및 IP 주소가 ping에 성공적으로 응답합니다.
  • Nslookup 서버의 FQDN을 올바른 IP 주소로 확인합니다.
  • FQDN 대신 IP를 사용하면 동일한 오류가 발생합니다.
  • 포트 443을 사용하여 FQDN에 대한 OpenSSL 연결이 성공합니다.
  • TLSv1.2를 사용 중입니다.
  • vSphere Client를 체크인하면 CA 인증서가 ESXi vCenter Server에 세 부분으로 구성된 체인 인증서로 표시됩니다.

다음 오류는 SMAS.log에서 찾을 수 있습니다.

Cause

이 오류는 Unisphere의 VMware 부분이 ESXi 인증서에 연결할 수 없음을 나타냅니다. Unisphere 인증서와는 관련이 없습니다.

Resolution

VMware ViClient는 인증서 체인을 처리합니다. Unisphere는 .pem 인증서의 위치를 VMware에 전달하므로 신뢰 체인에서 x 개 이상(예: 2개)의 인증서가 지원되지 않는 인증서 논리에 문제가 있습니다.

ESXi 인증서가 올바르게 설정되지 않았을 수 있습니다.

인증서 체인 길이와 관련하여 Unisphere의 인증서 처리도 향상되었습니다. 2022년 3분기 Security e-Pack에 대한 수정 사항이 계획되어 있습니다. 자세한 내용은 Dell 지원 부서에 문의하십시오.
