Symptoms

Unisphere for PowerMax 9.1.0.18でESXi vCenter Server xyz.abc.localを登録すると、次のエラーが表示されます。が使用するJava Runtime Environmentへのパスを定義します。

"An error occurred while attempting to retrieve the certificate for ESXi:xyz.abc.local Error:com.emc.em.smc.VirtualIntegration.exceptions.VmWareException: Failed to retrieve the issuer certificate for ESXi: xyz.abc.local Please check that the CA certificate exists on the ESXi/vCenter Server."

 

メモ: xyz.abc.local は、IPアドレス11.22.33.44を持つESXiサーバーの完全修飾ドメイン名(FQDN)を表します。これは例です。

エラーが表示されたスクリーンショット

 

  • 信頼できるCA署名証明書が使用されています。
  • ESXi vCenter ServerのFQDNとIPアドレスがpingに正常に応答します。
  • Nslookup サーバーのFQDNを正しいIPアドレスに解決します。
  • FQDNの代わりにIPを使用しても、同じエラーが発生します。
  • ポート443を使用したFQDNへのOpenSSL接続が成功します。
  • TLSv1.2が使用されています。
  • vSphere Clientで確認すると、CA証明書が3部構成のチェーン証明書としてESXi vCenter Server上に存在することが示されます。

SMAS.logでは、次のエラーが発生する可能性があります。

Cause

このエラーは、UnisphereのVMware側がESXi証明書に接続できないことを示しています。Unisphere証明書とは関係ありません。

Resolution

証明書チェーンはVMware ViClientによって処理されます。Unisphereは.pem証明書の場所をVMwareに渡すため、証明書ロジックに問題があり、トラスト チェーン内のx 個を超える(たとえば、2つ)個の証明書がサポートされません。

ESXi証明書が正しくセットアップされていない可能性があります。

また、証明書チェーンの長さに関するUnisphereでの証明書処理の機能拡張もあります。2022年第3四半期のセキュリティe-Packで修正が予定されています。詳細については、Dellサポートにお問い合わせください。
