Symptoms

PowerMax 9.1.0.18 için Unisphere'de ESXi vCenter Server xyz.abc.local kaydedilirken aşağıdaki hata görülür: :

"An error occurred while attempting to retrieve the certificate for ESXi:xyz.abc.local Error:com.emc.em.smc.VirtualIntegration.exceptions.VmWareException: Failed to retrieve the issuer certificate for ESXi: xyz.abc.local Please check that the CA certificate exists on the ESXi/vCenter Server."

 

Not: xyz.abc.local , IP adresi 11.22.33.44 olan ESXi sunucusunun Tam Nitelikli Etki Alanı Adını (FQDN) temsil eder. Bu bir örnektir.

Hatayı gösteren ekran görüntüsü

 

  • CA imzalı güvenilir bir sertifika kullanılıyor.
  • ESXi vCenter Server'ın FQDN ve IP adresi, pinglere başarıyla yanıt verir.
  • Nslookup sunucunun FQDN'sini doğru IP adresine çözer.
  • FQDN yerine IP'nin kullanılması aynı hatayı verir.
  • 443 numaralı bağlantı noktasını kullanarak FQDN'ye OpenSSL bağlantısı başarılı.
  • TLSv1.2 kullanılıyordur.
  • vSphere Client kontrol edildiğinde, CA sertifikasının ESXi vCenter Server'da üç parçalı bir zincir sertifika olarak mevcut olduğu görülüyor.

SMAS.log'de aşağıdaki hatalar bulunabilir:

Cause

Hata, Unisphere'in VMware bölümünün ESXi sertifikasına bağlanamadığını gösterir. Unisphere sertifikası ile ilgili değildir.

Resolution

VMware ViClient, sertifika zincirini yönetir. Unisphere, .pem sertifikasının konumunu VMware'e iletir. Bu nedenle sertifika mantığında, güven zincirinde x'ten (örneğin iki) fazla sertifikanın desteklenmediği bir sorun vardır.

ESXi sertifikaları doğru şekilde ayarlanmamış olabilir.
