Symptoms

Life Cycle Manager (LCM) support for Windows Server 2019 with Hyper-V has been purposefully removed temporarily from the currently shipping LCM version 2.4.1.

Windows Server 2016 with Hyper-V LCM support is unaffected and is still present and functional in LCM 2.4.1.

Cause

Windows Server 2019 with Hyper-V support in LCM 2.4.1 was removed due to a compatibility issue. 

Windows Server 2016 with Hyper-V LCM support is unaffected and is still present and functional in LCM 2.4.1.

Resolution

Windows Server 2019 with Hyper-V LCM support was restored in a code fix in LCM 2.4.2,released in late June 2021.
